MUSEUM OF ENTOMOLOGY
Revitalizing a brand identity to encompass a lively, modern appearance while retaining its appeal to individuals of all age groups.
RATIONALE
The Museum of Entomology is a designated space for the education and conservation of all insects. The proof of evolution lives here.
Inspiration was taken from the Bug Museum’s previous branding, which emphasized kid-friendliness. This evolution of the brand identity is more contemporary consisting of rounded elements with a lively color palette. The goal was to design an identity compelling to an older audience, but still vivacious enough to keep the younger audience as well.
Additional deliverables alongside the brand identity include a stationary set consisting of a letterhead, envelope and business card variants, a poster series advertising different exhibits, out-of-home advertisements, a postcard series, a gift card and a website. Alongside a coffee table book that would be sold in the museum’s gift shop.
